Eclipse in Beijing on August 1st, 2008
The Beijing residents will view partial solar eclipse on Friday, August 1st, 2008. The partial eclipse will take place in Beijing from 6.17 pm to 7.10pm. The eclipse will reach it’s maximum around at 7:10pm and will cover about 92% of the sun.
According to the authority, the best place to see the eclipse is near. Nadym in central Russia, where the eclipse will be almost total. The total phase of an eclipse looks like the onset of a rapidly darkening sky whose appearance resembles evening twilight about half an hour after sunset.
