Fireworks at Olympic opening ceremony
The second full dress rehearsal of the 2008 Beijing Olympics opening ceremony was held in the National Stadium ( the Bird’s Nest) on Saturday night (August 2nd, 2008).
Last night’s rehearsal featured fireworks late into the night. Beautiful fireworks explode over the Bird’s Nest. The opening ceremony is planed and executed by the famous Chinese Director Yimou Zhang. Details about this opening ceremony are being kept under tight secrecy.
Before the real show on 2008.08.08, there is one more rehearsal scheduled on Tuesday, August 5th. At the Opening Ceremony, the fireworks will be dazzling of different various combinations lasting 20 minutes. It will be set up above the National Stadium Olympic Central Zone, north-south access line, Olympic Forest Park and the Great Wall at Ju Yong Guan.
